Flintalk is a private, on-device meeting assistant for macOS. This policy explains what we collect, what we don't, and why. We built the product to keep your meeting content on your machine.
What stays on your device
- Documents you add to a knowledgebase, and their search index.
- Transcripts of your meetings and your saved conversations.
- Meeting context you type (job descriptions, client notes, etc.).
- Your sign-in session, stored encrypted in the macOS Keychain.
These never leave your Mac unless you explicitly export them.
What we process to run the service
- Account data: your email and authentication, handled by our identity provider (Supabase) when you sign in with Google or email.
- Usage metering: the number of minutes a session runs, so we can meter and bill accurately. We do not store your audio or transcripts on our servers.
- Answer generation: to produce an answer, the detected question and any relevant document snippets you've chosen to use are sent through our secure proxy to the AI provider. Your full documents and audio are not sent.
- Payments: processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
What we don't do
- We do not record or store your meeting audio.
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not join your meetings or place a bot on your calls.
Third-party processors
We rely on a small set of providers to operate: Supabase (authentication and account data), Stripe (payments), and an AI provider (answer generation via our proxy). Each processes only what's needed for its function.
Your choices
- Delete any saved conversation from your Mac at any time.
- Sign out to remove your session from the device.
- Request deletion of your account data by contacting us.
